Advanced Training improves PCOs’ performance and make them work more efficiently and effectively.

When PCOs are trained, they will learn to make good, safe and economical use of the company’s materials, tools and equipment.
Accidents and equipment damage will be minimized, and this will keep wastes to a minimum.

Though training PCOs should not totally eliminate the need for supervision, it can significantly reduce the need for excessive supervision in the workplace.

PCOs who go through additional training programs will boost their morale and will make them do their jobs with more self-confidence, as they will find their selves working more efficiently and effectively.

The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. Region IV-A has calendared a series on Non-accredited Online Courses for PCOs. Aptly tagged: THE LEARNING CURVE SERIES (TLC), we have crafted selected modules from previous course offerings, which we know are essential to the work of the PCOs. This line-up include:

• Hazardous Waste Management & Permitting
• Chemical Management & Permitting
• Online Reporting – SMR & CMR
• Online Permitting (Wastewater DP & PTO APSE)
• Basic GHG Accounting

Aimed at accelerating the knowledge and skills of PCOs to effectively perform his/her duties, the TLC series of online courses are an effective follow-through the 40-hours Basic Training  for PCOs. Even though non-accredited (in compliance to MC 2020-01, or the “Suspension of Implementation of Advance Training Modules for PCOs”), these courses will be most beneficial to PCOs and other professionals who are currently working as mid-level managers, administrators, and technical personnel of a proposed project or in a newly established/expanded facility.

Similar to all face-to-face PCAPI 4A trainings in the past, this Online TLC Series is a 2-days or 3-days immersive training, but will be tailored in the MS Teams platform and delivered in real-time streaming. This will be facilitated by PCAPI 4A’s dynamic Training Team composed of its Facilitators, Training Director and Secretariat who will guide the PCO Trainee in their virtual training experience.
