Training Schedule: July 21-22, 2026 (8am-5pm, 2 days, 16 hours)
We at PCAPI Region 4A strive to support our co-PCOs cope up and increase capacity building in ensuring environmental compliance. In line with this, we are conducting an Online “TLC Series on Water and Wastewater Treatment Management” on July 21-22, 2026.
The program will be most beneficial to PCOs and other professionals who are currently working as mid-level managers, administrators, and technical personnel involved in water and wastewater management in newly established or expanded facilities. The key learning objectives of this training are:
- To provide updates on the Clean Water Act (RA 9275)and the Revised General Effluent Standards.
- To identify the process of wastewater characterizationand effluent analysis.
- To understand the procedures for water and wastewater sampling.
- To explain the basic principles of physical, chemical, and biological wastewater treatment processes.
- To learn the operation and maintenanceof wastewater treatment facilities.
- To discuss best existing practices (BEP)in wastewater management and disposal.
- To identify wastewater minimizationand pollution prevention
- To evaluate appropriate best available technologies (BAT)and wastewater treatment options for the workplace.
- To present actual wastewater treatment practices and industry best practices in a facility.
This Online TLC Series is a 2-day immersive training but will be tailored in the MS Teams platform and delivered in real-time streaming. This will be facilitated by PCAPI 4A’s dynamic Training Team composed of its Facilitators, Training Director and Secretariat who will guide the PCO Trainee in their 2-day virtual training experience.
In this regard, we would like to invite your Pollution Control Officers/s and Environmental Staff to attend this course. Training fees are listed below and shall be inclusive of electronic copy of presentation materials and training certificate.
