PCAPI 4A’s 8th BIENNIAL PCO SUMMIT:
“Ripples and Rewires: Sustainability Strategies in the Face of Adversities”
The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI) Region 4A Chapter, Inc., a group of Pollution Control Officers (PCOs) operating in the CALABARZON Region, in collaboration with DENR-Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) – CALABARZON Region are holding our 8th PCO Summit on 8-9 October 2026 at the Grand Ballroom, Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, Pasay City. This biennial PCO Summit is a one of the highly anticipated gatherings of Pollution Control Officers in the region that is carefully curated to present targeted issues faced by industries concerning environmental policies.
The theme for this year’s PCO Summit, “Ripples and Rewires: Sustainability Strategies in the Face of Adversities” will attempt to highlight trailblazing strategies in the face of global and local disruptions that require moving from reaction to proactive resilience. Business disruptions can cause immediate financial losses, supply chain delays, and lasting damage to brand reputation. However, when viewed as catalysts for change, they also drive innovation, pushing companies to adopt new technologies, improve operational efficiency, and capture untapped market opportunities. Specifically, PCO Summit 2026 aims to:
(1) provide updates on environmental laws and regulations;
(2) present global and local disruptions (climate change, geopolitical tensions, compliance overburdens) and its connection with the industry and environmental compliance;
(3) present field-tested sustainable strategies that turned chaos into a competitive advantage;
(4) prepare a convention proceedings highlighting the PCOs / Industries issues and concerns raised and submit the same to regulators (DENR-EMB) for consideration and appropriate action; and
(5) showcase an exhibition of top and reputable environmental service providers and suppliers.
