“Adapting to Change Together: Strategies for Environmental Polycrisis”
Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI) Region 4A Chapter and DENR – Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) – CALABARZON Region cordially invite you to attend the 14th Biennial Convention and PCO General Assembly (GA) on 9-10 October 2025 at the Bellevue Hotel in Muntinlupa City. Responding to pressing issues, this convention will have the timely discussion revolving on the theme: “Adapting to Change Together: Strategies for Environmental Polycrisis.”
This 2-day convention aims to:
- Provide updates on environmental laws and regulations relevant to the practice of PCOs;
- Define polycrisis in the context of environmental management and pollution control;
- Present the different aspects of environmental polycrises, particularly, on (1) planetary crises (climate change and biodiversity loss); (2) policy and/or governance changes; and (3) transformations from rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI);
- Explore the interconnected nature of a polycrisis, and highlight their impact on sustainability and long-term resilience;
- Recognize PCOs and industries who exemplify outstanding work in resilience and sustainability, through PCAPI 4A’s Search and Awards for multiple categories: (1) Outstanding PCO Award, (2) Success Story Award, (3) Mother Nature Award; and (4) Stewardship Merit Award (new category!!); and
- Showcase an exhibition of top-caliber and reputable environmental service providers and suppliers.
This training supports compliance with DENR requirements and provide valuable updates for PCOs.
